- Ashley Young has opened up on his altercation with Tottenham's Dele Ali

- The winger who has been recalled to the England squad says he has moved on
Manchester United defeated Tottenham at Old Trafford last month, and one of the incidents in the game saw Ashley Young and Dele Alli having a go at each other.
Ashley Young who has just been recalled to the Three Lions set says he has not spoken to Tottenham star Dele Alli about their altercation.
Young was spotted on camera responding by saying: "When you win the [Premier League], let me know."
Young stressed that he has eased up from what happened on the pitch that day as the pair looked set for a reunion during the international break.
But Alli who got injured after Spurs victory over Real Madrid withdrew from Gareth Southgate’s England squad due to injury.
"Yes of course, it would be nice to see him," Young, who helped Manchester United win the Premier League in 2013, told Sky Sports.
"Things happen on football pitches. Once the game is finished, you don’t need to talk afterwards. That’s just how it is."
Ashley Young admits he is focused on making it to Russia 2018.
"I’ve shown I am deserving to be in the England squad but I don’t just want a place in the squad, I want to be in the team," he added.
"I’m one of those players who wants to play every game and the World Cup is a long way away, but at the back of my mind I think every English player wants to go to the World Cup."
Young has been in good form for Manchester United this season cementing the left-back position and left wing-back position in Jose Mourinho's team.
