Former Ghanaian international midfielder, Derek Owusu Boateng, has reportedly opened his own five star Hotel situated near the Achimota Golf Course and called it the Mandiata Hotel.
According to a report by Ghanasoccernet.com, former Black Star defensive midfielder Derek Boateng's new hotel facility is named after the footballers cherished three children, Mendy, Taisha, and Terick.
Reports have it that the relatively new facility boasts a variety of amenities such as wifi, high tech shower heads, a gym, and a fitness program dubbed "get in shape" fitness program for guests who also want to workout while they sojourn at the hotel.

Ghanasoccernet.com's report also states that the naturally reserved footballer who used to play for Panathinaikos has kept the existence of his new business venture out of the public eye for months, although the proverbial cat is out of the bag now.
