- Owusu Bempah has threatened to sue Ghanaian media houses over the false reports about him
- The prophet has labeled journalists behind the reports as 'stupid fools'.
The embattled leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has threatened to take legal action against media houses who published 'fake' news to damage his reputation.
According to Owusu Bempah, the recent viral media reports that claimed he said Jesus Christ is not the son of God are preposterous and nothing but lies.
The religious leader has come under intense public criticism after various online media portals attributed the statement to him.
However, Owusu Bempah speaking on an Accra-based radio station insisted that he has not made such claims on any media platforms.
The prophet who was clearly not happy in a live interview, labeled the journalists behind the reports as ‘stupid fools’.
“I will sue newspapers when I come back from my trip. It is as if journalists behind the story are stupid and fool. Why do some journalists try to disgrace people like that? Don’t they know their jobs?” the Reverenced minister fumed.
The prophet maintained that he was only explaining in an interview with Kofi TV that the real name of the son of God is not Jesus Christ but ‘Yeshua HaMashiach’ in the Hebrew Bible.
But he was surprised to hear Ghanaian media houses attributing him to the ‘fake news’ just to tarnish his reputation.
Rev. Owusu Bempah admitted that there are many contradictions in the Bible due to translations.
However, he will not spare media houses on the gaffe since it was a calculated attempt to bring him down.
