Actress and producer Yvonne Nelson is definitely in her mummy glow, following her confirmation of the rumors of her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of her baby girl.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported the actress had finally confirmed all reports of new bundle of joy via her Instagram page when she shared photos of her pregnancy shoot, and her interview with fashion and lifestyle magazine, WOW Magazine.
Yvonne in her interview, disclosed that she had definitely planned for her pregnancy, a decision she had looked forward to since her 29th birthday.
She narrated that when she turned 30, the man she was seeing proposed to her, following a birthday trip Venice in Italy.
“He is someone I would have loved to have a family with, but then he wanted me to move to London. My whole life was going to change and it’s not something you should do; you don't have to change your whole life because of a man or because of your marriage,” the actress said in the interview.
She explained that eventually, things did not work out so she decided to ‘chill’ and wait to see what the future will hold.
Yvonne Nelson, when asked about her to reaction to being pregnant, stated that she suspected she was but was not sure.
According to her, she was ready to be a mother, regardless of her relationship status and had constantly prayed to God for a family and children of her own.
Yvonne stated that when the test did come out positive, she was "truly happy”.
Yvonne Nelson first appeared in Ghana’s film industry with several supporting roles in some movies, before her first big break as the lead role in the highly acclaimed Princess Tyra movie, where she played the titular character.
Since then, she has appeared in several successful productions, especially under the Venus Film Production company.
She has also produced and starred in her own movies including House of Gold, which also featured other notable acts including Majid Michel, Omawumi and Ice Prince.
Her production company, YN Productions is credited with creating the successful TV show, Heels and Sneakers.
