Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta Region, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah has paid a courtesy call on the Battor Catholic Hospital to make some donations.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP made a promise to the hospital some months back to provide them with some life-saving equipment.
And true to his word, he visited the facility on Thursday to honour his promise.
The former Information minister donated a sum of GHc 10,000 as well as incubators, phototherapy machines, baby cots, among other equipment.
Mr Ablakwah later took to Facebook to thank the doctors of the facility, pledging to help in any possible way to save more lives.
