President of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo will be ending his tour of the Greater Accra region on Monday, November 13th.
The president's familiarization tour is part of his plans to get briefed on the progress of various programs initiated by the NPP administration.
Nana Addo's presidential tour started at the Tema harbor where he entreated upon officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to improve revenue collection.
According to Nana Addo, an improved revenue base will help " finance the expenditures we would need in our social sectors, for our education, for our housing, for our health, among others”.
From the ports, Nana Addo later visited top exporting companies in the free zones enclave where he emphasized on the various initiatives government is putting in place to help local factories thrive.
The intense part of the regional tour was when the president arrived at Abbosey Okai in Accra. It was at this gathering that Nana Addo refreshed the minds of Ghanaians on the promises government continue to achieve an example being the free SHS program.
