-Seven-year-old teen spends his birthday chatting with cops
-The youngster wore his own police regalia while visiting his role models
-His dream is to become a police officer and arrest criminals when he grows older
A seven-year-old boy whose dream is to become a cop and arrest criminals when he grows older spent his birthday at a police academy chatting with police officers about their job.
The ambitious youngster, only identified as Zac from Durbanvilled, South Africa, brought smiles on everyone's face when he arrived at Bishop Lavis Police Academy, complete with his own police regalia, to meet his role models and celebrate his birthday with the 'future colleagues'.
“He has always been obsessed with the police. His dream is to become one when he grows older. He desperately wants to be a cop," says Christy Haefele, his mother.
The tour to Bishop Lavis Police Academy, where Zac met several officers and their bosses, was a birthday surprise that was secretly planned by his mother.
Interestingly, Zac doesn't seem to believe there are 'bad people' as much as he already understands the work of a police is to enforce law and order.
“He always tell me ‘there is no such thing as bad people mommy', but rather those we call 'bad people' simply made bad choices!'” says Christy.
