President of the republic, Nana Addo, has admitted that his campaign promises are very ambitious and that he doubts his ability to fulfill all of them.

Nana Addo has revealed that his 4-year-tenure gives him little time to achieve all the ambitious campaign promises.

The NPP administration was able to win the hearts of Ghanaians in the 2016 elections through various mouth-watering promises like the planting for food and jobs as well as the one-district-one-factory policy.

“I have ambitious promises, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to fulfill all of them,” Akufo-Addo stressed at the 2017 Blomberg Africa Business Media Innovators Summit in Accra on Monday, November 13, 2017.

The government, under the leadership of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, aims to industrialize the economy through the introduction of policies for the agriculture sector.

Already, his government has rolled out his main campaign mantra Free Senior High School programme, which was executed in September.

The New Patriotic Party government has also started the digital property address system, restoration of the nurse's allowance, the paperless system at the ports, the One District, One Factory policy and the E-registration at the Registrar General’s department.

It's been 11 months since the NPP government took office and the administration has been praised for massive social interventions like the free SHS program, paperless ports system, digital address system among others.
