You may know him as the ‘Big English’ speaking character Papa Nii, in the popular TV series ‘Taxi Driver’ but now he goes by a new title.

Henry Harding who is best known in showbiz as Pattington Papa Nii Papafio a.k.a Oesophagus was earlier this month ordained as a minister of God for the Lifted Yoke Chapel at Korle Gonno.

The event was held at the Civil Service Auditorium on November 5, in Accra.

The actor in a recent interview, disclosed that he had served in the ministry for many years and that this new chapter in his life is an elevation to another level.

YEN.com.gh came across the photo of Papa Nii stepping into his new role with a photo posted by media personality Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), who congratulated him on his new path.

Papa Nii is noted for his hilarious roles in hit shows such as Adults in Education, Dada Boat, Hotel St. James and Home Sweet Home among others.

He recently shared his opinion on the influx of foreign movies into Ghana, stating there is nothing wrong with it, as lots of local movies also find their way into other countries.

He however called for a legislation to ensure that more of the local movies get the prime time slots on television.
