Meek Mill has been sentenced to between two and four years in prison.
He was charged with violating his parole with two arrests.
One was in respect of fighting, and the other related to reckless driving.
According to www.guardian.com, the rapper had been on parole since 2009 on the charges of possession of drugs and weapons.
Shatta Wale has resorted to social media to object to the arrest of the music artiste.
