- Top NDC man is accusing President Akufo-Addo of making life unbearable for many Ghanaians
- He says excessive hardship in the country is forcing their wives into lotto staking business
A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), communications team Agbesi Nutsu is accusing President Akufo-Addo of making life unbearable for Ghanaians few months after taking over from his predecessor, John Mahama.
According to the NDC sympathizer, excessive economic hardship in the country is forcing their wives and many other women into lotto staking business.
Speaking to Adom FM in Accra, the NDC member disclosed that the situation has left many husbands worried. since they are jobless.
The NDC communicator in his submission indicated that, women are now using lotto as their primary source of livelihood because most of their husbands are unemployed.
The NDC man noted that, women on Saturdays queue to stake lotto with the meager ‘chop monies’ for the upkeep of the home hoping to hit a jackpot.
“Out of every six people near a lotto kiosk, four are women. They now see lotto as a source of livelihood because President Akufo-Addo has made life unbearable”, Agbesi Nutsu said.
The NDC communicator bemoaned how the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) made juicy promises to Ghanaians but living conditions have deteriorated in just 10 months into power.
The only way out, he said is for Ghanaians to show the Akufo-Addo-led government exit in the 2020 elections.
