Ghanaians were dealt a moment of shock on Wednesday after Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency Sam George and the Deputy CEO of MASLOC Maame Afia Akoto took to social media to engage in some heated exchanges.

The duo, who both serve as state officials, hurled a host of unprintable words at each other after appearing to disagree on a discussion concerning the economy.

Sam George who belongs to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) referred to Afia Akoto as a “homosexual”, warning her to stay off issues of the economy because she knew next to nothing about such matters.

His utterances were not taken lightly by the Deputy MASLOC CEO, who replied in equal measure, describing the Ningo-Prampram MP as an “educated fool”, “a he goat” and “foolish”.
