Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane is supporting Ghana's Dancehall King Shatta Wale over his recent comments that one of Nigeria's most popular musicians, Wizkid is no superstar.
Shatta Wale, earlier in the week, bemoaned the weird and awkward of most of his colleagues whent they meet Wizkid saying he [Shatta Wale] will never consider the Nigerian as a superstar.
“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste", he said.
His comment got a section of Nigerians furious and they went on social media to rain insults on him.
However, Dammy Krane believes what the controversial Ghanaian artiste said about his countryman was true.
And he has taken to Twitter to defend Shatta Wale saying "I stand by you my g @shattawalegh Real things we deal with....No Fake Hype!!!"
Born Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel in 1995, Dammy Krane, is also a composer and performer with four albums to his credit.
