Award-winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo, known in the showbiz industry as Sarkodie has responded to self-acclaimed dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale’s reply to his tweet.

The “Highest” Album maker took to his Twitter account and indicated that Shatta Wale was too much of a talker after Shatta had indicated that Sarkodie refused to listen to advice.

The fastest rapper in Ghana revealed that Shatta Wale was fond of ‘playing too much’. He went on to reveal that he was very proud of his brand wand was in no way going to allow anybody to take his personality or the brand he has suffered to build for granted.

This tweet comes on the heels of reports coming in from Dubai that the rapper did not perform on the night of The One Africa Fest which took place in the Arabic country.

According to reports, Sarkodie who was the only artiste from Ghana on the bill amongst star-studded artistes from other countries, refused to mount the stage due to some ‘backstage’ fracas and alleged misbehavior from some Nigerian musicians.

When the news broke, Sarkodie took to his Twitter account to apologize to his fans who were anticipating his performance in Dubai. Sarkodie’s tweet caught the eye of Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale who then ‘chastised’ Sarkordie for not listening to advice.

Sarkodie insinuated that Shatta Wale knew him to well to think that he was going to let anyone trample on his brand and personality.

Some of the international artistes who performed on the night included Nigeria’s Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage.
