Sarkodie carrying himself about like a ‘cheap’ musician – Shatta Wale

The ‘Forgetti’ hit maker says Sarkodie doesn’t respect his brand.

He also said the ‘Hand to Mouth’ hit maker does not listen to advice.

YEN.com.gh reported earlier that Sarkodie pulled out of the ‘One Africa Music Fest in Dubai just hours to his performance.

According to the report, Sarkodie was stopped from performing when it was his turn to.

Rather, Nigeria’s Davido was made to take over the stage.

This may have come as a rude shock to Sarkodie who travelled all the way to Dubai for this event.

This change in programme did not go down well with his official DJ, DJ Mensah, as well.

Information trickling in to YEN reveals that the ‘Highest’ musician feels disrespected by the way events unfolded at the music festival.

Consequently, he took to social media to announce that he was not performing anymore and apologized to his fans.

There have been many reactions from some Ghanaians and musicians alike since Sarkodie made this announcement.

Notable amongst the reactions is one by controversial GH music star, Shatta Wale.

He responded to Sarkodie’s tweet asking him to respect his brand.

He added that Sarkodie must stop availing himself because he is being “used too much”.

The Ghana ‘Dancehall King’ implied in his tweet that Sakordie portrays himself like a cheap artiste.

He wrote: “Sarkodie doesn’t listen....its time you respect your brand bro... they are using you too much.....”
