Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh broke the news over the passing of ace radio journalist and anti-corruption crusader, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, known widely by his thousands of listeners as KABA.

According to reports, the sad incident occurred at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital in Accra where the radio icon was rushed to in the early hours of November 18.
The popular show host of renowned “Eko sis sen?” radio program on Accra-based Asempa FM is believed to have been loved by many people and had carved a niche for himself on the airwaves.
He was popular for his agenda of fighting corruption in Ghana. He was also very instrumental in the sad passing of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama with his reportage.
When the information was first reported, many people were in doubt concerning its authenticity until others started confirming the sad news on social media.
For some, the news was fake news, for others, they thought it was some kind of a joke. Other social media users had to tune in to radio to confirm the unfortunate news.
