The latest development in relation to the passing of the top journalist include a book of condolence which has been opened in loving memory of the journalist and a memorial service which has been held in his honor.

Scenes from the memorial service were that of sorrow and general shock as many people cannot still fathom the fact that the ace journalist was no more.

The highlights of the memorial service held for Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong was the uncontrollable tears shed by friends and loved ones of the popular journalist. Chief among the mourners of the journalist was Member of Parliament of Tema West constituency, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover.

It is reported that Titus Glover who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Transport is the close friend of the top journalist.

He therefore could not fight back his tears as he wept inconsolably at the memorial service that was organized by Multimedia Group for their dearly departed colleague.

Kaba, before his untimely demise was the host of widely-listened to radio talk show, “Ekosii sen?”. He got married to Valentina Ofori Afriyie in June last year and the couple have a baby together. He was 37 years old at the time of his passing.

The death of the radio icon was reported on Saturday, November 18 after he was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by workers of the health facility.

Unconfirmed hospital reports suggest the cause of death to be a result of a medical condition known as hypoglycemia. He is also reported to have been diabetic.
