Organized by Citi TV, the award is designed to recognize the efforts of people who have impacted their various fields in a positive way.
It took place the Kempinski hotel on Saturday 18th November 2017.
Tommy Annan-Forson was adjudged as the winner of the first edition of the award.
The veteran broadcaster, who is popularly referred to as ‘Air Marshal’ or ‘Uncle Tom’, expressed his appreciation for the honour done him.
He has more than 35 years of media practice to his credit.
He took the opportunity to exhibit his disk jockeying skills to the delight of the audience.
Some personalities present at the ceremony were actor Kofi Adjorlolo, satirist Kwaku Sintim Misa and former MP and Minister of State, Fritz Baffuor.
The Managing Director of Citi FM, Samuel Atta-Mensah commended Tommy Annan-Forson with respect to his work in Ghana’s media industry.
He added that ‘The Eminence’ event has come to celebrate Ghanaians who are making great impact in various fields of work.
