The death of Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong a.k.a KABA, hit many media industry practitioners very hard, as is evident at the memorial service held on Monday at Multimedia Group premises.
Some national stakeholders and colleagues of the journalist were seen grief-stricken, as they shed heavy tears for the late journalist.
One of the mourners at the memorial service, TV and radio sports show host, Patrick Osei Agyemang, popularly known as Countryman Songo, was spotted locked in his grief at the service.
Songo who is known to be a ‘hyper’ TV host was seen in a solemn and depressed state, hardly speaking to anyone at the service.
In a state of extreme sorrow, Countryman Songo dashed into the middle of the street near the premises, asking the drivers of the cars whizzing by to run him over.
The grieving sports journalist said he could not bear the loss of his friend and hence wanted to leave the world with him.
It took the quick intervention of some staff of Multimedia including Akumaa Mama Zimbi and the co-host of Adom TV's Badwam, Nana Yaa Brefo to pull Songo away from the street.
