A memorial service was held for the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong on Monday 20th November 2017.
The late broadcaster, who was popularly referred to as KABA, worked at Asempa FM.
The event took place at the forecourt of Joy FM, a sister radio station to Asempa FM
The vice president, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, led a government delegation to the programme.
He took the opportunity to sign a book of condolence opened for KABA.
He wrote “it is truly unbelievable to learn about your passing. It is so sad. We will truly miss you. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
KABA passed away on Saturday 18, 2017 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
He was the host of Asempa FM’s popular afternoon political show, ‘Eko Sii Sen’.
