The communications director of the National Democratic Congress, Solomon Nkansah, is still reeling from shock over the death of Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, a.k.a KABA.
According to him, the death of the journalist is as startling as a bomb going off, and he still cannot believe such a young, vibrant individual is gone.
Solomon Nkansah, in an interview with Adom FM on Wednesday, stated that KABA was one of the most talented journalists in the country, and his death has dealt a heavy blow to the industry.
He further eulogized KABA’ dedication to his work, stating he ‘lived above politics’, and his professionalism should be an inspiration to other journalists in the field.
Mr. Nkansah called on the 'powerful' men of God in the country, to prove their strength and capability by bringing KABA back to life.
KABA was pronounced dead at the Korle-Bu hospital in the early hours of Saturday, November 18, when he was rushed to the emergency unit.
The host of the ‘Eko Sii Sen’ current affairs program, was mourned on Monday at a memorial service held at the forecourt of Joy FM.
Among the attendees of the service were several notable media giants across various media houses, as well as some politicians from the ruling and opposition parties and some Ghanaian celebrities.
According to Prophet Badu Kobi, he had prophesied that a popular Ghanaian journalist will pass away, which leave the entire nation in a state of shock and sorrow.
