He was speaking to the host of Adom TV’s Badwam, Omanhene Kwabena Asante, whom he cautioned to consider the implications of his weight gain.
The member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, made these comments during a solemn discussion about the death of noted Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, a.k.a KABA.
Though the police have yet to reveal the full details of the cause of the death of the broadcaster, some unconfirmed reports have linked it to diabetes or hypertension, a theory Kennedy Agyapong supports.
Mr. Agyapong, in the wake of the sudden demise of KABA, urged all Ghanaians and especially the Badwam host, whom he called “Bofrot-face” to start taking effective steps to ensure they are in the best of health.
A member of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Bature, who was also present on the show, expressed sadness at the loss of the talented journalist.
He stated that the sudden death of KABA, should teach everybody to appreciate and acknowledge the works of their colleagues and friends while they are alive, and not wait for death before they decide to extol their achievements.
