Ghana is on the path to economic transformation, the first lady of the republic of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has stated.
Rebecca Akufo-Addo believes that her husband, President Akufo-Addo is has fulfilled so many promises since coming to office in January.
The NPP administration has tapped itself on the back for what government claims to be a good work done since taking over power in January 2017.
In fact, the finance minister, Ken Ofori Attah in the just read 2018 budget revealed that government has "delivered" on many promises including the free SHS and the planting for food and jobs.
Speaking to officials of China as part of her official state visit there, Rebecca Akufo-Addo stated that "with a determined and focused person like Akufo-Addo steering affairs of the country, there is a lot of hope for Ghana and things are already looking good for Ghana.”
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Ambassador to China, Edward Boateng has assured the First Lady of high productivity. According to him they will “not disappoint the president but work hard to bring more investment into the country as well as look at the well being of Ghanaians in China.”
Rebecca Akufo-Addo is on a tour in China with a group of women entrepreneurs, some members of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and academics as part of efforts to explore investment opportunities in the country.
