Have you ever sat down to wonder why most nice guys are still single? Well, you might have your own opinion but the verdict out there is something that will probably not go down well with many ladies.
Yen.com.gh run a poll on the topic: Why is it that really nice guys stay single and never get a girlfriend?
Surprisingly, the responses came aplenty, with some Ghanaians sharing their views on why they think good guys most often struggle to get girlfriends.
Some believed there is nothing like a “nice guy”, insisting all men are players, whiles others also opined that it is because of the materialistic nature of some ladies that has kept good guys single.
One guy said: “I’m still building my future at the moment and most ladies of today don't really like building. Until she understands that we build together I will stay single.”
Another guy also opined that educational qualifications and wealth have now become a benchmark for every girl and they will not compromise on that even if the guy approaching them is the nicest in the world.
One other man also disclosed that the reason why he is still single is because he would not want to go in for a lady who is not as spiritual as he is.
Some ladies also shared their views on the subject, with one in particular commenting that men generally want to remain single in other to be able to play around, claiming such a decision has nothing to do with being nice.
Another lady also said: “it is because they [men] like to hit and ran. Again, when you go for them and they start working, they will mistreat you and tell you it was just because of their conditions that they got married to you and they are now seeing nice and more educated ones fighting for them meanwhile those ones were there when you were having nothing.”
Well, there you have it. Some Ghanaians have given their views on the subject, but you can also add yours in the comment section below.
