Veteran Ghanaian musician, Obrafuor has disclosed that, growing up, he dreamt of being a lawyer.

Information obtained from www.ghanacelebrities.com, shows that he was inspired by his grandfather, Okyere Darko, who was a lawyer.
In an interview with Ohemaa Wo Ye Je of Adom FM, Obrafuor stated that music was never part of his initial plans.
He however said that inasmuch as he has lost interest in the legal profession, he still has a lot of respect for lawyers.
Switching to his love for music, the rap legend stated that his huge stock of proverbs are from his talents. “It wasn’t an old woman who taught me the proverbs I know”, he added.
The music artiste went on to say that he sees himself as unique.
In his opinion, no one could rap the way he does.
“I wanted to rap without being profane. I wanted to do music to inspire, educate and entertain…”, he stated.
