KABA goes home January 20, 2018

January 20, 2018 has been set by the family of the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA, for his burial.

His burial, according to the family arrangement, will take place at Akwamu Adumasa in the Eastern Region.

The decision to bury the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong at Adumasa, is based on the fact that he was from a royal home.

Therefore, it would be appropriate for KABA to be buried in his hometown.

The late ‘Ekosii Sen’ presenter died aged 37 on Saturday November 18 after a short illness.

He was said to have reported to work a day before his untimely death.

However, after complaining of dizziness, he was asked to take the day off.

Only for him to meet his untimely death the following day while being rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital when his condition worsened.

Since his death, the offices of the Multimedia Group, his former employers, have been thronged by high profiled dignitaries to mourn.

They also signed a book of condolence opened on behalf of the late political and current affairs show host.

President Akufo Adoo, former President John Mahama, some Members of Parliament, and KABA's colleague journalists, have also signed the book.

KABA left behind a wife, Valentina Ofori Afriyie, whom he married just last year, and a seven-month-old baby.

The observance of his one-week celebrations has been fixed for Saturday, November 25, 2017 where details of the final funeral rites would officially be announced.
