Queen of Denmark, Her Royal Majesty Margrethe II was treated to a nice reception on Thursday after a State dinner was organized in her honor.
The Danish Monarch is in the country for a three-day visit geared towards strengthening ties between Ghana and the European country.
Queen Margrethe II arrived in Ghana on Wednesday, November 22 and will be leaving on Friday, November 24, 2017.
This is the first time that a Danish Monarch is visiting Ghana and President Akufo-Addo took the time to give her a nice treat by organizing a dinner in her honor.
In attendance at the ceremony were a host of government appointees, including some ministers and diplomats.
Ex-presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor were also present at the State Dinner held at the Flagstaff House.
Her Majesty Margrethe II arrived in the country with a business delegation, including Denmark’s Foreign Affairs minister.
She is set to depart back to her homeland on Friday evening.
