MUSIGA to compose song in memory of KABA

Bice Osei Kufour, popularly known as Obour, the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), has hinted that executive members of the union are are set to release a new song in honor of the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).

According to the MUSIGA President, KABA was “a great contributor and player in the media landscape,” therefore he deserves their honor.

Speaking to adomonline.com shortly after signing the book of condolence, Obour indicated that he personally loved KABA’s impartiality in his line of work.

“It’s really sad that a brother, great contributor and player of democracy in the media landscape will pass away at this moment. He was fair and unbiased in the journalism field”, Obour said.

Obour disclosed that there have been numerous calls within union members that “he is a brother we should do a song to honor his memory”.

KABA was the host of Asempa FM political talk show. He was rushed to the Korle-Bu teaching hospital for an emergency care after a short ailment.

However, he was pronounced dead on the early hours of Saturday, on November 18, 2017.

Though the cause of his death is not yet known, there are some unconfirmed reports KABA died of low sugar.

His death has devastated many industry players with tributes pouring in from all corners of the world.
