An Adom FM presenter, Afia Pokuaa, has denied reports circulating that she has been relieved of her position by the management of Multimedia Group.
This week, some reports emerged that the Adom FM staff member and another colleague, Ohemaa Woyeje, had been sanctioned by their head company for some comments made following the death of Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).
‘Vim’ Lady as she is popularly called, took to her Facebook page earlier this week, to to make some allegations indicating KABA’s death was not due to natural causes.
“Why do we use juju and evil means to kill each other and undermine each other when we came individually?”. Why? Did God create anyone for anybody? WHY ARE HUMANS THAT EVIL?” Vim Lady wrote on Facebook.
As at Friday evening, the reports trooped in that the radio presenter and her colleague may have lost their jobs due to their conduct.
These speculations were further fueled by Ohemaa Woyeje’s Facebook status, which read: “BETTER TO LOSE YOUR JOB THAN LOSE YOUR LIFE!!!”
However, Afia Pokuaa has addressed the rumours, stating that she is still happily employed with the Multimedia Group.
In a report by Ghanaweb.com, Afia Pokuaa took to Facebook once again to deny the claims she has been fired.
“From twisting my post, to twisting my employment status – Am still cruising at Multimedia wai. MGL, THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD. Haters go shame cos we started from the mud and crawled to the top by sheer grace wai,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, the one-week observation of the late KABA is currently underway at the premises of the Multimedia headquarters.
