Many hearts were broken and many people were saddened when the news of the death of ace radio show host Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong was reported.
The news of the radio personality widely known and called KABA by his many ardent listeners and colleagues shook many people including past and current statesmen.
Even during the One Week observation of the journalist’s passing, some people are yet to come to terms with the unfortunate incident.
One of such persons is local gospel sensation DSP Kofi Sarpong who was spotted in a video wailing uncontrollably over Kaba’s death.
The security personnel and musician refused to accept the fact that Kaba was dead and could clearly not hide his tears in the video.
Just like DSP Kofi Sarpong, many other personalities including Countryman Songo and Adom FM’s Captain Smart have all showed their grief one way or the other.
During the memorial service that was attended by people from all walks of life, the general mood was that of shock and sadness. The highlights of the memorial service held for Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong was the uncontrollable tears shed by friends and loved ones of the popular journalist. Chief among the mourners of the journalist was Member of Parliament of Tema West constituency, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover.
There have been several revelations after the passing of the “Ekosii Sen?” show host.
Multimedia colleague and Adom FM presenter, Captain Smart alleged that the late journalist was owing Erata Motors for a car he had purchased from the outfit.
He also purported that Kaba was about moving into his own house before his untimely passing.
Some Multimedia colleagues including DJ Ohemaawoyeje and Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as “Vim Lady” also put in a word after Kaba’s death. Their comments have allegedly triggered some sanctions from the higher ups at Multimedia Group.
