The sudden death of Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA, sent shockwaves across the nation this week.
All across Ghana’s media and showbiz circles, friends, colleagues and associates of the Asempa FM presenter have expressed sadness at the loss of one of Ghana’s noted journalists.
On Monday, at the forecourt of the Joy FM premises, several national stakeholders, along with staff of the Multimedia Group, trooped to sign the book of condolence for the journalist and join each other in mourning.
On Saturday, November 25, all friends, family and sympathizers of the late journalist once again met at the headquarters of Multimedia, to commemorate the one-week observation of KABA’s passing.
Several notable media personalities, including Afia Schwarzenegger, Akumaa Mama Zimbi and Bola Ray, were present to extend their condolences to the grieving family.
At the ceremony, the date for the final funeral rites for the late journalist, was announced to take place between December 15-17, in Accra.
Meanwhile, the mother of the late journalist, Madam Felicia Amoabeng, has said she will give thanks to God even in her moment of grief.
Madam Amoabeng, who revealed that KABA passed away in her arms, said she is no one to question God’s decision and believes she will meet her son again in heaven.
