I will not stop dressing the way I do - Ebony confirms her stance despite criticism

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in media circles as Ebony Reigns has revealed that she did not have any intention of changing her way of dressing anytime soon even though she has been on the receiving end of criticism.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM, the “Date your father” hit maker revealed that criticism was something that was not new to her. She added that she had been on the receiving end of criticism ever since she was a child.

In reacting to the criticism about her way of dressing, the dancehall artiste revealed that she was not in any way going to alter her brand by changing her way of dressing because it was who she represented.

She went on to reveal that her Manager, Bullet of Ruff and Smooth fame was the one who even limited her way of dressing. She cited several instances where she wanted to put on an outfit to an event but was told by her manager to change it.

She continued by saying that she was going to keep on dressing the way she did because Ghanaians were going to get used to it as part of her brand.

Ebony Reigns came under a lot of fire this past week over a video that went viral on social media. The budding musician was criticized for her way of dressing since many people were of the view that her action was tantamount to indecent exposure.

In the wake of these criticisms, the “Poison” song maker came out to react to the harsh attacks over her dressing with a post on social media that speculated that she was not at all bothered by the criticism.

The post she put up read, “Jesus died for sinners like me.lord thank u for loving me#hustle.”
