One of Ghana’s celebrated screen goddesses, Yvonne Okoro, celebrated her 33rd birthday over the week.
The actress who is known for her stellar performances, shared an adorable throwback of herself as a baby, being lovingly held by her mother.
In a post via her Instagram profile, Yvonne wrote “A year older…. Been cute since 1984…”
Born Chinyere Yvonne Okoro, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, Yvonne Okoro has been in the movie industry since 2002.
Her earliest appearances on screen was in the series Tentacles and the movie Sticking to the Promise, both produced by Nigerian producer Theo Akatugba, of Point Blank Media Concepts.
Since then, Yvonne has starred in numerous successful Ghallywood and Nollywood movies, including Single Six, Ghana Must Go, Rebeca, Four Play, and Contract which starred noted South African actor Hlomo Dandala.
She also received recognition for her role in the Sparrow Productions 10-part film series, Adam's Apples, which also. starred Joselyn Dumas and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku.
Yvonne Okoro is the first child of her mother, and the fifth child among her siblings.
She currently hosts her own cooking TV show, Dining with Cooks and Braggarts which features celebrities from across the continent showing off their cooking prowess and engaging in delightful conversations.
