Popular musician, Mr. Eazi is reported to have contributed GHc10,000 to help with the hospital bills of 6-year old Peter Sarpong.

In a report by www.zionfelix.net, Peter was knocked down by a truck as he headed home from school.

He had been sacked from school because he owed an amount of GHc2.20 which formed part of his school fees.

The incident occurred on 12th July 2017 at Offinso-Sanproso in the Ashanti Region.

According to a good Samaritan who prefers to remain anonymous, the musician sent the money when he heard of the boy’s plight on Radio Univers.

The lady disclosed that Peter, who lost both legs in the incident, would be discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) on Thursday, 30th November 2017.

A bill of GHc40,000 needs to be cleared before that day, she added.

She revealed that the Peter’s condition came to her attention when she took her child to KATH for medical attention.

She disclosed that she therefore called for public support for him, as she couldn’t do so herself.

The unknown lady is also determined to secure accommodation for Peter and his family, as their current place of abode is in a bad shape.

She has therefore called on the public to help in cash or kind, by calling 0200310000.

An eyewitness, Alexander Opoku revealed that the truck driver who knocked down Peter, sped off, but was later arrested by the Offinso Police.
