Popular TV host and Ghana’s ‘queen’ of comedy Afia Schwarzenegger, has always shown her deep appreciation for Former President John Mahama.
Since before the 2016 election period, Afia Schwar often lauded the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, joining some other Ghanaian celebrity supporters of the NDC including Kumawood star Tracy Boakye and actor John Dumelo.
Afia, with her vibrant Instagram page, posted a litany of praises about the former president, describing him as her hero, her superstar and her strength.
“My daddy, my king, my daddy, my hero. My daddy my superstar, My daddy, the supremo. My daddy,my confidant. My daddy, my warrior. My daddy, my prayer partner. My daddy, my pride. My daddy,my strength. I Love you so much....Live Long King @dramani_mahama1,” she wrote.
The TV host recently dropped new information regarding her marriage.
Afia, who has been on a mission to raise awareness about domestic abuse, violence against women and toxic relationships, has said that abusers always know their actions are wrong, but still go ahead with them anyway.
Narrating a story that seems to be from her own experience, Afia via her Instagram account, wrote: “I saw my ex lying/trying to defend himself anytime he abuses me ana i tell someone....so i asked him a very simple question,"If you are so ashamed of the things u do to me,why do u do it"...And he had no answer.. The moral behind this story is your abuser knows very well that what he is doing is wrong hence lie or try to cover up his actions... Leave to Live.”
