Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has made wild claims against President Akufo-Addo and vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing the pair as gays.
The controversial politician is unhappy with comments made by the president concerning the issue of gay rights in the country.
President Akufo-Addo was on international news network Aljazeera and spoke at length on a number of issues, including Ghana’s economy as well as answering questions on the country’s readiness to legalize homosexuality.
Speaking on the latter, the president said it is possible that homosexuality will be legalized in Ghana if majority of the people begin to call for it.
His comments have since sparked debate among Ghanaians, with some criticizing him for not dismissing the idea outright when questioned.
Akua Donkor has also weighed in on the debate, and has gone a step further to even make allegations against the president and his vice.
According to her, both Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia are gays, describing them as “an embarrassment” to their respective religions.
“With the opportunity that the president had he should have condemned such acts but he rather expressed the optimism for legalization in the near future. That’s so unfortunate,” Akua Donkor lamented, as quoted by Ghanacrusader.com.
“I can tell you on authority that the president and his vice Bawumia are gays. In fact Bawumia is a disgrace to all Muslims and the president is also an embarrassment to Christendom.”
