Christmas in Ghana is usually spent in the company of families, whether large or small and friends, and there is always good cheer and large plates of delicious home cooked meals.
No one likes to step outside their homes when the true holidays arrive and with good reason.
Some spots in the nation’s capital and pretty much everywhere, get so crowded, you’d curse yourself for stepping out. YEN.com.gh has found four places you should never be at during Christmas:
1 The central business districts. Whether you’re in Accra or Kumasi, the main market areas are a no go. Your Christmas shopping should nearly be complete by the end of November or the very early weeks in December.

2. The Malls. Have you ever tried to stop at any of the Malls just for a quick purchase.? Talk about human traffic at its worst.
3. Fast food joints. All the local fast food spots tend to be so full, you’d be better off 'chilling' in your house.
4. Bus terminals. This of course cannot be avoided, but the holidays also happen to be most populous time at bus stations as many people are going to spend the season break with their families.
