All too soon, the month of December is here with us again and most of us are really preparing to make the best out of it.
Whenever we hear the name December, we always have wild expectations as well as activities to make all 31 days of December count. In this article, we explain the main reason why most of us love to stay in December forever.
1. More partying
Christmas is a month to enjoy and this enjoyment is mostly felt among persons of all social class. More so, this is also a month of various parties. If not a wedding ceremony, a picnic, Christmas is that very moment when people tend to party.
2. More shopping
Shopping is rife during Christmas holidays especially when retail shops come up with the craziest of shopping deals. This includes mouth-watering sales packages like Black Friday which sees sales plummet to over 50 percent.
In December alone we have about three solid holidays. These are more holidays any month could ever have. This means more time to rest and also have fun.
4. Double pay
Most salaried workers enjoy double pay to sustain them through the holiday and also the New Year. Although we still find many Ghanaian employers find themselves broke in the cause of the new year.
People tend to remember they're true friends mostly during the holiday season. At church, we get to enjoy various freebies from friends and family as well. Even at work, we may enjoy some hampers from clients and these all happen during Christmas!
6. Sweet songs
No month is far more resonating like Christmas. During this season, we get to enjoy various Christmas tunes and songs. This time we get to bring back the carols of old times and sing like the youngsters we were years back.
7. Happiness all the way
When all is said and done, we get to find Christmas as a moment when happiness, just happiness abounds. It's all about love, giving and sharing and this exactly is what we all cherish in the month of December.
