As Ghana celebrates farmers day, citizens all over have expressed their appreciation to farmers in the country, for their hard work in ensuring the best products hit our markets each day.
From Former President John Mahama to some celebrities, there has been a genuine outpour of gratitude across the nation to the sector that feeds the country, while also providing a major source of revenue to the state.
Among the thankful citizens to the farmers of our land, is actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo.
The actor, aside his successful onscreen career, also has a number of other business, among them being a large farming venture.
John Dumelo often posts photos of the developments of his farm, showing off his hardwork and determination.
On Friday, the actor took to his Instagram Page to show appreciation to farmers in the country, for their hard work.
“To all the farmers I’ve worked with directly or indirectly across the country and to all Farmers In Ghana, I say Ayekoo! Together let’s make Ghana proud! Happy farmers day! #melofarmer#Ghanaianfarmer,” he wrote.
The farmers day holiday is observed annually to celebrate the hardwork and dedication of the workers in the Agricultural sector.
Government holds a special durbar each year, to honour the best farmers in the country and offer them prizes for their contribution to the nation.
