Ghanaian movie actress, Nana Ama McBrown says she never had the dilemma of having to sleep with a movie producer or director before being handed a role.
Inspiring students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Nana Ama disclosed that she is proud she didn’t share any man’s bed for a movie role.
“No movie producer or director has slept with me. I will not sacrifice myself for movie roles. Others can do that but not me Nana Ama McBrown. I have built a brand for myself and allowing producers and directors into my pants is not part of it,” she told the gathering.
Encouraging the students to be diligent in whatever they do. She also challenged the students to pursue their passion and stand for whatever they believe in.
“Some of them will dare even nurse that thought of sleeping with me for roles because they know the stuff I am made of. If you present yourself cheaply that is what happens to you but I will never do that,” she added.
Nana Ama McBrown is a Ghanaian actress and a music writer. She found mainstream success following her rousing performance in the Twi-language movie Asoreba.
