This year's edition of the Starr FM organised S-Concert came off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.
As expected top artistes including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Captain Planet, Lil Win, Gifty Osei, Joyce Blessing, among others mounted the stage to thrill fans.
Conspicuously missing on the night was dancehall artiste, Samini.
Though advertised as part of the star-studded performers, the 'Linda' hitmaker, failed to show up on stage.
As it turned out, Samini was at the stadium for the concert but had to leave because of issues he had with the event organisers.
According to him, though organisers told him he will be performing at 1:30 AM, he waited backstage for almost four hours after the stipulated time without any explanation from them.

In a Facebook video posted after the the incident, Samini said:
“I don’t normally complain like this but guess what, this is getting out of hand. I’m sorry to the fans who came out to the stadium to see me but I’m not doing the show and I’ve left the stadium. we have to stick to, we have to make sure organisers communicate right with the artiste. you don’t keep me backstage almost four hours and have me wait for people to take turns on stage while I still sit backstage without knowing what to do. So basically, my call time was 1:30 and I stayed backstage till 4 o’clock and I had to leave”.
