In happy times and in sad times, people come together and put their differences, associations and ‘prophecies’ aside in order to share in the moment.
Former President John Mahama subscribed to this philosophy when he stood harmoniously beside some of Ghana’s popular men of God at a funeral over the past weekend.
The photos taken by representatives of the Elisha Salifu Amoako Ministries, showed Former President Mahama posing with Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, ‘Bishop’ Daniel Obinim, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi and Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako.
Mahama showed ill no feelings, though Owusu Bempah is a known sympathizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party and its leader, Nana Akufo-Addo, and also predicted the NDC's defeat in the 2016 general elections.
The funeral was for the son of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, who sadly passed away at the age of 19.
Other attendees at the ceremony was TV host Afia Schwarzenegger, who also posted a photo of her finally meeting Mahama, declaring that her year is officially complete now that she has met her favorite politician.
