Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor, has come down hard on women who bleach their skin and said they've turned into "tigers" due to the products they use.

According to the veteran public figure, African women ought to take pride in their color and maintain their natural skin tones. She said women shouldn't try to change their skin tones and look like "the whites".
She went on to say God appreciates it when women maintain what they've naturally been endowed with, skin tone and all. In an attempt to express her feelings against the act, Akua Donkor went as far as to say that the act displeases God.

“In the past, other race even appreciated the hairdo of Africans. Women hair was very beautiful and appreciable, but today, they all want to be like the Europeans. How can it be possible?" pondered Madam Donkor.
In a hilarious comment bound to put a smile on Ghanaian faces, Akua Donkor also condemned women who enjoy wearing artificial nails, likening them to tigers.

Akua Donkor went on to say that the reason why young women have a hard time getting married in this day and age due to the way they dress, adding that men now were afraid of them.
“Most ladies of today wear fake nails as if they are ‘tigers’. Human beings have turned into tigers," said Akua Donkor, "they must change".
