Popular Ghanaian rapper, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, better known as Obrafour, has disclosed that he does not necessarily need to become a born-again Christian before he can collaborate on a song with Evangelist Lord Kenya.
According to a report by Abrantepa.com, Obrafour said he does not understand why Lord Kenya wants him to declare his stance before he can collaborate with him.
Speaking on Accra FM on Saturday, the musician lamented that, "I don’t understand it. I should repent from what? We are all sinners, including Lord Kenya himself. We are only saved by the blood of Jesus”.
Obrafour disclosed that sometimes, most Christians cause others to sin because many think they are too righteous.
The veteran rapper added that the scripture even says the righteousness of many Christians are as dirty as rag in the sight of God. Therefore Kenya must leave judgment to God.
“I’m ready anytime Lord calls on me for a collaboration. If it is the will of God, we will collaborate on a song regardless of me being a sinner or not,” he added.
Reports say Obrafour on another media platform, announced his readiness to collaborate on a song with Evangelist Lord Kenya.
However, some media publications have quoted Lord Kenya to have said a collaboration between the two would be possible only if he [Obrafour] convinced him that he is born-again.
The former hiplife giant, Lord Kenya is now a preacher who appears not to be looking back to his ‘old life'.
His call to evangelism, according to him, started ago when he was ‘arrested’ by the Holy Spirit.
