Many people including celebrities have shared their view on the viral video of Shatta Wale slapping one of his bodyguards on stage during the S Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The latest celebrity to wade into the matter of the slap that has generated a lot of media attention is gospel musician Cwesi Oteng.
Speaking in an interview on Rhythmz Live on Accra-based GH One Television and reported by ghanacelebrities.com, the “God dey bless me” singer revealed that he was sure President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has regretted inviting Shatta Wale to the Flagstaff House.
The gospel musician based his assertion on a string of ‘negative’ events that Shatta Wale has been involved in over a short period.
Cwesi Oteng revealed that Shatta Wale’s recent behavior was not befitting of a person who was parading himself as the ‘People’s champion”. He insinuated that some of his actions did not speak well of him as an artiste.
Cwesi Oteng however revealed to show host Regina Van Helvert that he had a lot of respect for Shatta Wale because he was a very influential artiste.
After Shatta Wale’s ‘historic’ birthday wish and invitation to the seat of Governemnt from President Akufo-Addo, the “Taking Over” hit maker has been involved in a number of controversies.
He was involved in a beef with some Nigerians after he indicated that he did not consider Wizkid as a superstar. Shatta Wale’s comments sparked a social media war between some Ghanaians and Nigerians.
Following that episode, the “Ayoo” hit maker recorded a song to ‘diss’ Nigeria’s Timaya and he was also seen firing live bullet rounds into the air; an action which was alleged to be a warnng to some top Nigerian artistes.
Recent development about the musician was a viral video in which he was seen slapping one of his bodyguards at the recent S Concert which was held at the Accra Sports stadium.
