Ghanaian rapper Desmond Blackmore, known by his stage name as D-Black, is wailing over what he describes as 'pure hatred' destroying the Ghanaian music industry.
According to the rapper, the entertainment industry could have been more profitable if Ghanaian artistes supported each other.
D-Black who applauded dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, after he was spotted in a video jamming to Shatta Wale’s song, said Ghanaian artistes must demonstrate genuine love and support towards each other.
"If we had genuine love for each other’s music and persons, supported each other selflessly, our industry would be a far more profitable and one we’d reach much greater heights!" D-Black said.
The artiste lamented that there are some Ghanaian artistes who have made it their mission to pull down other artistes who try to shine in their music career.
"Unfortunately this is what our neighboring countries have over us. Too much hate and 'pull him down' out here", the rapper added.
D-Black therefore called for unity among industry players in order to create a more successful music industry.
