Edah, popularly known as Lopez, made the comment during an interview with JoyNews.
According to him, the social media "war" between Shatta Wale and some Nigerian music artistes should stay on social media. “
What happens on social media, remains on social media.”, he stressed.
He went ahead to say that there was no need to further fuel the matter as one side has refrained from engaging in the issue.
In his opinion, there is no point in fighting someone who isn’t responding to your attacks.
“I am more like a Ghanaian, I have been in this country and I actually love everything I see in this country.
I feel whoever is coming up with this whole thing has a message for his people but doesn’t know how to address it,” he stated.
Lopez went on to say that there is an urgent need for MUSIGA to sit Shatta Wale down in order to advise him. There is no need to invite a third party, he stressed.
The row between Shatta Wale and some Nigerian artistes began with a comment allegedly from Shatta Wale to the effect that Wizkid isn’t a superstar.
The comment drew a response from the Nigerian music community who reacted on to Shatta Wale’s comment on social media.
A popular Ghanaian music producer, Hammer, however jumped to Shatta Wale’s defense by claiming that the comment directed at Wizkid wasn’t an insult.
