The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has finally nabbed a land guard who has been terrorizing citizens in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The suspect, 32-year old Prince Nii Amartey, is alleged to be the brain behind a number of land–related clashes in and around Kasoa.
Information obtained from www.mynewsgh.com shows that Nii Amartey, a native of Obom, was arrested on Tuesday 5th December 2017 at Asafoatse.
It is believed that together with his accomplice, he had been a constant source of worry to landowners in the area.
The suspect is currently in police custody at Kasoa.
The police are therefore calling on all who have victims of his activities to contact the Kasoa Divisional Police command.
According to the police, Nii Amartey would be arraigned before a court soon
