Agya Koo, also known as Alexander Kofi Adu, is one of the foremost movie actors in Ghana.
In a report by mynewsgh.com, Kwaku Manu said that Agya Koo stood tall and saved the industry from Nigerian movies.
For this feat, Kwaku Manu believes that his co-actor needs to be praised.
Nigerian movies reportedly flooded Ghana in the early 2000’s.
In that regard, there was little to be done, as substantial sums of monies were lost in the process.

In Kwaku Manu’s view, Agya Koo, who started from the Keysoap Concert Party series teamed up with Miracle Films, a movie producer, to resurrect the local market.
As a consequence, Ghanaians began to appreciate local movies once again.
Agya Koo, in 2008, was honoured by former president John Agyekum Kufuor, for his role in the reemergence of the Ghanaian industry.
According to Kwaku Manu, “we must give him a standing ovation.
He is my senior brother; I salute him with much respect and accept the fact that, indeed Agya Koo is a legend and needs to be celebrated as such”.
