Top 10 most ‘wanted’ Ghanaian musicians in 2017

The Ghana music industry has been very competitive throughout the year 2017. However there are some musicians who defied all odds and made it big through hard work from start to finish.

There are some artistes who also made impact and survived the year by resorting to one controversy or the other.

Some artistes also crashed out completely along the journey, probably due to industry competition.

Meanwhile, there are also some new crop of musicians who were not heard from the beginning of the 2017, but made strong invasion and registered their names on the ‘big shows’.

Though this is debatable and does not necessarily guarantee increase of their bank accounts, one can easily argue that some Ghanaian artistes are currently hot cake in the music industry.

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has also played a lot of shows both home and abroad. He has also released a lot of tracks this year with many 'collabos'. However he is the only Ghanaian artiste who has caused a lot controversies in the music industry.

3. Stonebwoy

The Bhim Nation President has undoubtedly distinguished himself creditably by securing a lot of international 'collabos'. Stonebwoy has also played a lot of local and international shows. He has also released a number of songs for the year 2017.

4. Bisa Kdei

Bisa Kdei also made huge impact in the year 2017. The singer also released and played a lot of international shows. Kdei also has countless 'collabos' to his credit.

5. Becca

Becca has stayed relevant throughout the year 2017. The singer has been all over both home and abroad. Becca has been featured by a lot of big names in the music industry. She also released some hit songs this year and also celebrated her 10-years anniversary in Ghana music.

6 Efya

Efya, the songstress stayed relevant throughout the year 2017. The singer also played some few shows locally but had a lot of local and international collaborations.

7. Kofi Kinaata

The Fante rapper, Kofi Kinaata did a lot of hard work and stayed influential throughout the year. The musician released a lot of new tracks that can never lose its taste and freshness. Kofi also played a lot of local shows but very little was heard about his international shows.

8. Ebony

Not much was heard about Ebony from the beginning of 2017. However, she has become very huge in the music industry. Though Ebony is doing great as a young artiste, she appears to have taken after Shatta Wale with a lot of controversies hanging around her neck.

9. Kuami Eugene

He was not known from the beginning of 2017 but made great entry onto the music scene. Kuami is doing great songs which his fans will never get bored with. One can easily say that the young singer distinguished himself and he is now dinning on the table of men.

10. Kidi

Kidi is also making it big time in his own way. His music is loved by both the young ones and the older generation. No wonder young Kidi is also living his dream as he is dining with industry giants.
